In the Medieval Balkan History section, original materials are published on topics related to the history of the Balkan peoples during the long period from the 4th to the end of the 15th century, devoted to important social, political, cultural and religious problems. Translations of original documents from the languages used in the Middle Ages in the region are also accepted. Developments that have a discursive nature about proto-national identity, philosophical and theological problems, texts with interdisciplinary approaches and research in the broad framework of the science of medieval studies are preferred.
