Crossmark policy
Crossmark is a service maintained by Crossref to provide readers with a standard way to locate the current version of an item and to check for past changes. This may include, but is not limited to, any corrections, retractions, or updates to the item or its metadata.
You can find out the current status of a document by clicking on the Crossmark logo, where you can also retrieve additional information about the publication record. The Editorial Board of the Annual of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" - Faculty of History (GSU-IF) recognises the importance of the accuracy and completeness of the digital repository and, as a demonstration of its commitment to upholding the content it publishes, is incorporating the Crossmark logo into its publications. By providing a more timely means of informing readers of any changes to its publications, the Annual places the utmost importance on transparency and trust between all parties involved.
When a significant change affects citation or interpretation, Crossmark informs readers that the member has updated the metadata record to reflect the new circumstance.
The Crossmark logo will only appear on current and future journal content, starting with volume 107 of GSU-IF (2024). If deemed necessary by the Editorial Board, the service may be backported to previous issues of the Annual.
